Desmond Raymond
Canada is vast and its landscape varied. Desmond Raymond has travelled far and wide throughout Canada over the years and has had the opportunity to explore, create and share his impressions of what he has discovered.
From the vast and rugged lands and waters of the Canadian Arctic, the wide-open Prairies, the Rocky Mountains, the beaches and rainforests of British Columbia, the ruggedness of the Precambrian Shield in Northwest Ontario, the spiritual home of Tom Thomson in Algonquin Park to the beloved rock and water of his Newfoundland home, he has experienced and captured the Canadian landscape in all its varied glory.
Over the years, through his travels, he has met many Canadians who have shared their land, culture and stories with him. This has allowed him to learn and evolve as both an artist and a Canadian.
He invites you to explore his work and join him on the journeys through his art.
